Q1.Do I need a reservation?

Yes. All the buses are reservation only. For details, please see the "Reservation" page of our website.

Q2.Can you put me in the waiting list?

Sorry, but we don’t have the waiting list system.

Q3.Where can I buy a ticket?

You can buy a ticket at the ticket counter of our company or at a convenience store.

Q4.Can I have a receipt?

Yes. You can have a receipt at the ticket counter, or from the bus operator if you buy a ticket on the bus. If you fail to get it, please make an inquiry at the operating company you used.

Q5.Is it possible to reserve a seat number?

Shinjuku Line, Nagoya Line, Osaka Line, Tachikawa Line: you can request a seat number by phone or select a seat number using online reservation.
Nagano Line, Yokohama Line, Kofu Line: you cannot request a seat number.

Q6.Can I use a credit card or an IC card?

Visa Card and Master Card are acceptable at the ticket counter, but no IC cards are accepted. On the bus credit cards are not acceptable.

Q7.Can I change the bus or the bus stop where I will board the bus?

If you have a reservation only, you can change the bus at the reservation center.
If you have already bought a ticket, you change at the ticket counter only once. After that, please have your ticket refunded and buy another ticket. You can make these changes only before the departure time of your ticket.

Q8.I’ve lost my ticket. Can I board the bus?

If you have lost your ticket, you will have to buy another ticket. A “second purchase certificate” will be issued. If you find your first ticket later, please bring it to ticket center along with this certificate. The ticket will be refunded.

Q9.Can I have the ticket refunded?

As long as it is before the departure time of your ticket, you can.

Q10.Can I have a refund for a bus delay?

Sorry, but no refund will be made for a bus delay.

Q11.Do I have to pay a cancellation fee?

If you have a reservation only,
you don’t have to pay a cancellation fee. Please inform us of your cancellation before your departure time.
If you have already bought a ticket,
you have to pay a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees depend on the tickets.

Please make an inquiry at the reservation center or the bus terminal before your departure time.

Q13.Where can I make an inquiry about ticketing at a convenience store?

About making a reservation or purchasing a ticket at a convenience store, please see each website of “highwaybus.com” or “Hassha All Right Net”. About refunds, please make an inquiry at the contact number written on your ticket.

Q14.Is there a restriction on the luggage to be carried into the bus?

You can leave your luggage in the bus truck room if it is under 10kg weight and 1m length. However, valuables or expensive items may not be accepted. Please make sure before boarding. Dangerous goods are not allowed to be brought into.

Q15.Can I bring my pet into the bus?

Your pet will be welcome into the Sinnan Bus if it is in a basket. The child fare is required.
But each operating company has its own regulations. For full details, please make an inquiry at each operating company. Guide dogs and service dogs are excluded.

Q16.Can I bring my bicycle into the bus?

If your bicycle is folded in the bike bag, you can bring it into the trunk room. However, you may be refused to bring it in when there is a lot of luggage in the high season.
※As each operating company has its own regulations, please ask each company for details.

Q17.Is it possible to board the bus in a wheelchair?

It is possible if the wheelchair is foldable and can be placed on its side in the trunk room.
Please inform us of your using a wheelchair when making a reservation.For full details, please make an inquiry at the operating company you will use.

Q18.I’ve left my belongings in the bus. Where should I contact?

Lost articles are kept in each operating company office for a while and sent to the police station. For full details, please see the “Lost Articles” page of our website.

Q19.No smoking inside the bus?

Yes. Smoking is not allowed inside the bus including the lavatory.

Q20.Is there a lavatory inside the bus?

Yes, there is. But some extra buses have no lavatory. Please make sure in advance.

Q21.Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, it is, except for some extra buses. Please make sure in advance.

Q22.Are there any electric outlets inside the bus?

Yes. In some buses each seat has an electric outlet and in others only the seats in the last row have, except for some extra buses. Please make sure in advance.

Q23.Can I have a certificate when the bus is delayed?

Yes, a “delay certificate” will be issued. Please ask the bus operator.

Q24.Is there a break on the way?

Yes, there is a comfort break on the way in each Bus Line except for the Iida-Nagoya Line. For details, please sea each Bus Line information of our website.

Q25.Can I eat or drink on the bus?

There is no restriction on eating and drinking. However, please refrain from eating food with strong smell or drinking a lot of alcohol so as not to disturb other passengers.

Q1.Through which door should I board?

Please board through the rear door and exit through the front door.

Q2.Should I pay the fare in advance or later?

Please pay when exiting. On boarding, please take a numbered ticket from the vending machine.

Q3.Can I change money on the bus?

Yes. You can change money using the money changer beside the driver's seat. Only 1,000 yen notes and 50, 100 & 500 yen coins are accepted.

Q4.Can I use an IC card?

Sorry, IC cards are not acceptable.

  The regulation mentioned in the Q5 above is applied.
  (200 yen ×(20persons−4persons)×0.8)+(400 yen ×4persons×0.9)=4,000 yen

Q8.Can I board in a wheelchair?

Yes, you can. But not all buses are wheelchair accessible. Before using the bus, please ask the department of service management of our company for more information.

Q9.Can I bring my pet into the bus?

If you keep your pet in a basket, you can. But if it may bother other passengers, you may be rejected to board with your pet. Please understand it. Guide dogs and service dogs are excluded.

Q10.Can I bring a bicycle into the bus?

If you fold your bicycle and put it in its bag, you can. However, you may be rejected to board with your bicycle when it is crowded. Please understand it.

Q11.Can I ask for a certificate if the bus is delayed?

Yes. A certificate for the delay will be issued. Please ask the operator when you exit, or make an inquiry at Iida Station ticket counter or Igara ticket counter.

Q12.I have a prepaid book of tickets which are still valid. Can I have it refunded?

Yes. But the remaining tickets must be in consecutive numbers. Some refund charge applies.

Formula:
face value−(fare of one ticket−used number)−refund charge (210 yen) = a refund

9 tickets were used from a set of 12 tickets (face value 3,000 yen, one ticket is 300 yen) and 3 tickets left.
       3,000 yen−(300 yen×9)−refund charge 210 yen=90 yen

Q13.I have a commuter pass which is still effective. Can I have it refunded?

Yes. But some refund charge applies.

Formula:
face value−{number of passed days × one way fare ×2}- refund charge 520 yen= a refund
<ex.>
You purchased a one-month pass for a one-way 400 yen section.Refund amount if you stop using it after 10 days.
10,000 yen−(10 days×400 yen×2)−520 yen=1,480 yen (refund)

Q14.Is it only the person who purchased a Free Pass who can use that Free Pass?

Anyone of the person’s family or colleagues can use it during its validity period.

Q15.Can I have a Free Pass reissued or refunded?

Sorry, but no reissue nor refund will be made for a Free Pass.

Q16.Is it only the Iida City Circuit Bus that I can use a Free Pass for?

You can use a Free Pass for any bus if it’s inside the area where the Circuit Bus runs. For example, from Iida Station to Isshiki Apple Road there are 3 bus-line services: the Komaba Line via the municipal hospital, Iida City Miho Line and the Circuit Bus: A Free Pass is available on any of these bus services.

Q17.Can I use a student coupon for a ride except for commuting?

Yes, you can.

Q18.I've lost my commuter pass.
    Can I have it reissued?

No. You are required to purchase a new one. If you find your lost pass later, it will be refunded, but it depends how many days are left by its expired date. Please make an inquiry at the ticket counter.

Q19.I've washed my commuter pass and it is illegible now.
    Can I have it reissued?

Please bring your pass to the ticket counter as it is. It will be reissued if your pass number or your name can be identified.

Q20.I left something in the bus. Where can I contact?
